1. Who May Use TAF
The Athlete's Formulary is intended solely for use by qualified healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and allied health practitioners working within sports medicine and elite sport settings. By accessing TAF, you confirm that you are a qualified healthcare professional accessing this resource in a professional capacity.
TAF is not intended for use by athletes, coaches, support staff, or members of the public. If you are not a qualified healthcare professional, you must not access or rely on TAF content.
2. Nature and Scope of TAF Content
The Athlete's Formulary is a medication governance reference. It provides medicines and supplement information to support governance of prescribing and dispensing decisions in sport. It does not constitute medical advice, clinical guidelines, diagnostic guidance, or a prescribing tool.
TAF does not assist with diagnosis. All diagnostic decisions, clinical assessments, laboratory assessment, and the final choice of agent remain the sole responsibility of the treating clinician. You must not use TAF content as a substitute for independent professional assessment, laboratory investigation, or specialist referral.
3. Anti-Doping and Regulatory Status
Prohibited substance status within TAF is verified against the WADA Prohibited List current at the time of publication. You acknowledge that the WADA Prohibited List is updated annually and may be subject to interim amendment. You agree that it is your responsibility to independently verify current prohibited status via wada-ama.org or globaldro.com before making any clinical decision with anti-doping implications. Sport-governing-body regulations may apply in addition to WADA requirements and must be verified independently.
4. Currency of Information
TAF content is reviewed periodically. Product certification status, pricing, and regulatory information are subject to change. You acknowledge that content may not reflect the most recent clinical evidence, regulatory changes, or product availability at the time of access. You agree not to rely on TAF content without independent verification where clinical safety requires it.
5. Jurisdictional Variation
TAF references UK regulatory status unless otherwise stated. You acknowledge that the legal status of medicines and supplements varies by jurisdiction. If you are practising outside the UK, you accept responsibility for verifying local legal and regulatory requirements independently.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Athlete's Formulary and its authors accept no liability for any clinical decision made in reliance on TAF content, or for any loss, harm, or damage arising directly or indirectly from use of this resource.
7. Intellectual Property

8. Reporting Errors
You are encouraged to report any content inaccuracies or updates to colin@medsontrack.com. TAF is committed to maintaining the accuracy and currency of its content.
9. Independence and Impartiality
The authors of The Athlete's Formulary receive no payment, financial incentive, or inducement of any kind for the inclusion or recommendation of any product, brand, or manufacturer within this resource. No commercial relationships influence TAF content. This independence is foundational to the clinical trust TAF seeks to maintain and will not be compromised.
